Turkmenbashi Onshore Gas Terminal

Description
Situated in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan, the Petronas Onshore Gas Terminal is a major energy processing facility built to handle off-shore natural gas and condensate extracted from Block 1 in the Caspian Sea, featuring an annual processing capacity of 5 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas and 2.4 million metric tons (Mt) of condensate. Spanning an 18,000 m² indoor footprint alongside extensive outdoor processing and storage yards, the plant incorporates advanced Gas Treatment Plants (GTP), crude oil and monoethylene glycol (MEG) storage tanks, and critical industrial utilities. The general contracting scope encompassed heavy industrial civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical-instrumentation works. Key deliverables included the installation of 6,000 metric tons of process piping, erection of 5,300 metric tons of heavy steel structures, and end-to-end electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation system integrations across all processing units.
